Lavender Room
The room has a soft, feminine ambience.
This room is part of the main house, but with a private
entrance. The room was changed into a guest room in 2001 when Heléne,
my eldest daughter went to boarding school.
By that time, her wish was ’something purple’. The walls
were finished with the most interesting paint technique, using purple
as a base. Helene is also very artistic and got an A for art in grade
12. Some of her artwork adorns the walls.
