Dining and Lounge facilities:
Our dining and lounge facilities offer an unusual and exclusive experience venue with fireplaces and a view of one of the many lakes. We have a breakfast room and evening dining room combined with a lounge. Each dining room seats 16 people. We offer house wine at dinnertime but guests are welcome to bring their own drinks. We do not have bar facilities.
Breakfast.
Breakfasts are served from very early to about 10h00 to suit the needs of all my guests. We offer a Standard English breakfast. Yogurt, fresh fruit salad (Our own berries in season), orange juice, fresh farm milk and cereals are always available.
Lunchboxes are made on request.
I prefer it if my guests take the bed and breakfast option (B&B) instead of only self cater, because that is the time that I enjoy spending with them, to help them plan the day ahead.
Dinner:
A visit to Florence Guest Farm is not complete unless you have tasted our homemade bread, which comes standard with dinner.
Our trademark is traditional farm cooking – “Aartappels, rys, vleis en pampoen, soos ons in Afrikaans sê” .
Fresh salad from our organic gardens and a “lekker poeding” will round off a lovely evening.
