The Rondavel
The previous owner, built the rondavel using stone from an old municipal reservoir. The sandstone was cut in a round shape in order to build a round structure. After being originally connected to the old homestead, it was separated during renovations to the farmhouse 1994.
In 1998, I changed the old Rondavel into a Guest Cottage. The interior received a complete makeover, creating an eclectic feel. The rondavel has the best view from your bed and sleeping in front of the fireplace is a real treat.
Though the rondavel is situated just next to the main house, it is completely private. The cottage was upgraded with new linen and décor in 2006.

Two single beds with the option of king-size linen on request. The bedroom and living room areas are open plan.

Living room with clay pot fireplace (fire wood is provided), two comfortable chairs and a sleeper couch that converts into two small single beds. TV, radio, table with two chairs
Bath room:
En suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped for 4 persons. Fridge, microwave, two-plate stove and grocery cupboard.
Garden:
Private garden with garden furniture and braai facility. Guests must provide own charcoal.
View:
From your bed and from the braai area you will have a beautiful view over the lake.
Parking: Parking under the tree.
