Sandstone Cottage
The Sandstone Cottage was my first love. Many visitors,
including several honeymoon couples, have enjoyed this lovely suite.
The Cottage was the first step to providing accommodation on the farm.
It was a milk room, cum storeroom that was enlarged and revamped with a
totally new roof structure.
The front of the cottage was given a sandstone face-lift
in order to fit in with all the other buildings on the property. Florence
Guest farm welcomed its first guests in October 1997.
The cottage was upgraded with new linen and décor in 2009.
In 2009 I had to put in a new fire place and we changed the bedroom to
be an open plan with the rest of the cottage witch made it much more spacious.

En-suite bathroom with bath, toilet, basin and shower.
Living room: Living room with
fireplace (firewood is provided), two comfortable chairs and a sleeper
couch that makes two spacious single beds. TV, radio and table with
four chairs
Kitchen:
Fully-equipped for 4 persons, fridge, and microwave two-plate stove
with oven, grocery cupboard.
Garden:
Private garden with garden furniture and braai facility. Guests must
provide own charcoal.
View:
From the braai area you will have a view over one of the lakes.
Parking: Under-roof parking.
